Niedawno głośno było o „bombach ekologicznych” tuż za Krośniewicami i w Łaniętach. Niestety czas na Kutno!

Na działce przy ul. Majdany 10 kolejny już rok zalegają odpady niebezpieczne, toksyczne i szkodliwe dla zdrowia ludzkiego będące pozostałością po funkcjonującym tam zakładzie.

Zakład Gospodarowania Odpadami EKORD o którym mowa, od 2005 roku magazynował odpady. Po odebraniu mu pozwolenia i zaprzestaniu działalności w 2018 roku na terenie stanowiącym własność spółki pozostały niezliczone ilości beczek, paleto-pojemników i innych opakowań mieszczących tysiące litrów nieznanych, chemicznych substancji. O tym, że są to substancje toksyczne, żrące i łatwopalne świadczą nieco już poniszczone etykiety na pojemnikach.

Toksyczne substancje poza przykrym chemicznym zapachem unoszącym się w okolicy przenikają do gleby i wód gruntowych. Sprawa jest doskonale znana kutnowskiej policji, magistratowi, starostwu powiatowemu i Wojewódzkiemu Inspektoratowi Ochrony Środowiska. Trwa postępowanie w Prokuraturze Okręgowej w Łodzi.

Są decyzje, pisma i przepisy, są też winni ale problem chemicznego składowiska pozostaje nierozwiązany. Najważniejszą kwestią jest jak najszybsze uprzątnięcie terenu - TYLKO KTO MA TO ZROBIĆ ?
